The Wooloomooloo's Restaurants recently have a Steakalicious Set Dinner promotion(Chop House, Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, Wooloomooloo Prime). The price ranged is 350, 450 and 490 respectively. I tried Wooloomooloo Steakhouse second.
So the quality here was much better and worth the $100 extra. They provide bread here and it was fresh and soft. Actually it was better than Wooloomooloo Prime's bread.
I ordered the prawn cocktail but forgot to take a photo of it. The 3 prawns were fresh and springy. The sauce was sweet and refreshing for the hot weather.
The main was a significant improvement to Chop house. The migon was tender and juicy. The crabcake here was definitely better made and thicker(though they only have one)
Their dessert here was also great. The cheesecake was light and suitable for the hot weather. The tartness of the yoghurt and berry compote balanced the cheesecake really well.
However, despite the better quality here compared to Chop House(in my other review), I would still recommend Wooloomooloo Prime. For an extra $40, the food, service, environment are all much superior (the detailed review will be under that restaurant)
