I met up with my friend for dinner at Causeway Bay tonight and he suggested to have Singapore food. Vanda was located at Times Square, Causeway Bay. The cafe was huge and spacious, with bright and modern lighting displayed all over. They offered snacks, toast, rice, noodles, bak kut teh, curry, drinks and desserts etc. Iced lemongrass orange tea was refreshing and sweet, with nice balance of lemongrass and orange taste. Lemongrass & lychee soda with lime was refreshing and gassy, sweet and sour

Iced lemongrass orange tea was refreshing and sweet, with nice balance of lemongrass and orange taste. Lemongrass & lychee soda with lime was refreshing and gassy, sweet and sour in taste.

Baked scallion cakes with curry sauce - Scallion cakes was similar to Singaproe version of roti prata. It was soft and crispy, not too oily. Curry was thick in texture and fragrant, going well with the roti.

Fried kway teow - It was fried with egg, shrimp, smoked pork sausage, squid, bean sprouts, Chinese chive, onion, lard, red pepper, flat noodles and yellow noodles. Noodles was fried till flavourful and chewy, spicy in taste. Peanut bits was provided at the side to mix together.

Penang prawn mee - The noodle soup came with shrimp, pork, tofu puff, egg, water spinach, bean sprout, rice vermicelli and yellow noodles. Soup was tasty and rich, absorbing the essence of the prawn broth. Noodle was smooth and chewy, while those ingredients were juicy and chewy as well.
