朋友生曰飯想食牛,本來我想試BLT,但佢insist又食番Ruth's Chris.當然主角大晒!! 預先請朋友訂位.四個人7:30pm.順便問下生曰有冇送dessert.因為試過生曰晌LA既Ruth's Chris送左個free dessert.個Host over the phone話唔會送但如果點dessert,佢地會寫happy birthday.唸住都冇所謂啦.點都會叫個dessert既.送既麵包夠熱.皮脆內軟但唔夠香.我地先order兩個appetizers: Crabtini同Sizzling Blue Crab cakes. Crabtini係用blue crab拆肉.啖啖肉.伴了vinaigrette同creole remoulade sauce,酸酸甜甜.好清新開胃. 今次係我第一次o係香港既Ruth's Chris食牛.都有d expectation.雖然大家主打都係美國Prime Steak,但Menu就唔係好同.主要係冇左d specialty marinated steak.當然靚牛只須salt & pepper都會好食,但印象LA Ruth's Chris既specialty new york尤其出色. 一個朋友點了medium既Petit Filet with Shrimps: Filet當然係好腍.可惜好明顯overcooked.唔香.而且得兩隻fully cooked既蝦有點唔太值. 另一個朋友箍牙,所以選了12oz medium rare USDA Prime Ribeye試下有幾腍.肉質嫩滑但唔係top Prime.生曰大佬點了Bone-in Cowboy Ribeye.而我都係點我最愛既New York Strip.我同個waiter講要medium rare-rare.要warm center既rare.佢建意Rare Plus. haha其實以我經驗,Steak house好少能夠做到rare.因為要放上熱碟,牛扒本身等既時間仍然係cook緊.到佢放到你面前永遠只有熟d.所以我order rare plus只會希望出黎既時候依然係medium rare.還好,仲係medium rare+ (not medium *phew*). 外面煎得脆脆.肉味頗濃.不過有d根位.算係四個之中最香既一個. Overall okay.不過唔覺得加左牛油香d,只係油左.
我地本來唸住叫dessert,點知個waiter好醒目咁放好哂餐具.然後送上有Happy Birthday同candle既bread pudding.我地都幾surprise.生曰大佬就更加以為係我地預先prepare. Bread Pudding有唔同既果肉加上cinnamon,好有口感. Share完個bread pudding真係再叫唔落另一個dessert lur. 埋單總共$2300.後來先發現個bread pudding係on the house 值得又俾多分~加上Service真係幾好.除左waiter外,個manager會走黎check下有冇意見.非常盡責!! overall都係值得既!!
