Pic 1️⃣&2️⃣: Mikoto Omakase Sashimi Rice Bowl (Deluxe) - $430 hkd 🐟 🍚
— As the menu suggests, their rice bowls follow an omakase style, with the chefs selecting the freshest seasonal sashimi to ensure that diners are able to enjoy the best of the best. This bowl comes with 15 different types of sashimi, giving you the opportunity to taste a wide range of flavours. The chef also recommends the best order to eat them to ensure you’re getting the optimum experience! No doubt, their sashimi was very fresh and high quality, and I love that they’re prepared in a range of ways; some seared, some marinated. The sashimi really just shines on its own, so it’s definitely worth a try.
Pic 3️⃣: Edomae Assorted Sashimi Rice Bowl (Deluxe) - $370 hkd 🐠🍚
— In comparison with the other bowl we ordered, this comes with 12 types of sashimi, and the rice is also seasoned with some nori and soy sauce to give it a bit of savouriness. The rice is similar to sushi rice, with a firmer texture and a slight hint of vinegar. There were some similarities between the two bowls, but personally, I’d go for the Omakase bowl as the variety of fish is a lot more “interesting”.
Pic 4️⃣: Set Salad
— Good salad to start off with, fresh vegetables and vibrant colours.
