Decided to venture to Tai Hang on a hot day, praying that there is no queue at this place. And we were blessed! Perhaps it was really humid, it was packed but no queue. We are used to brusque HK service because it's the norm here, but when we were about to pay, a friendly bespectacled uncle came to us and he was super nice! Because we only ordered a single egg noodle (單拼一丁) which was not even on the menu (min is two ingredient 雙拼一丁 which would cost hkd20), he charged us 15hkd for that bowl of noodle instead (maybe he's one of the boss? Haha!). That to me is really a nice gesture on his part and we really appreciate it! Thank you uncle!
