Yesterday, a friend of mine from Africa returning HK for holiday, 一行十五人 went to 深水埗 蛇王協 for a big dinner. 蛇宴 一圍十二人起,包兩大窩蛇羹,椒鹽蛇碌,蛇汁生菜,炆蛇腩, 山瑞, 蛤蚧燉湯, 龍飛鳳舞酥炸蛇球, 走地雞, 鮑魚蛇腩冬菇煲等also 包3支1.25公升汽水, 兩支大啤, 半巾五蛇膽汁酒 & 半巾過山烏蛇酒! since we have 十五人 so we added one additional dish 串燒蛇柳, 好彩有加, most of my friends like this 串燒, very special, kind of 新姜 style. The dish that I like most is the first one 龍飛鳳舞, but since it was the first course, everyone was too hungry to allow me taking a photo.... but it was the one

蛇羹湯底不太杰，lots of 蛇肉，伴木耳絲，菇絲，好有口感。some of my friend really like the 薄脆 ...not sure why?? I know different 蛇王"店" has their own 湯底 for 蛇羹, some use chicken, some use 豬骨, 蛇王協 is using 金華火腿, 羹底較稀 but 火腿 carry out the 蛇肉的鮮味
店主女蛇王 was very talkative, and strongly recommended the 走地雞, she emphasize, the
走地雞 was killed at 5:30pm, and cooked at 7:30pm, 好鮮味
山瑞煲, ... 好補
酥炸蛇球....特別
椒鹽蛇碌... my girlfriend like it, so I like it lor.....
Personally also like 鮑魚蛇腩冬菇煲, normally they offer 花膠蛇腩冬菇煲, but 女蛇王 decided to use 鮑魚 that night since she found the 花膠 she can get that week wasn't good, even better since I like 鮑魚 rather than 花膠.
雞燉蛤蚧湯, is the final 主角, 足料到爆 I will come back to try the 蛇龜湯 next time.
$2,640 for 一圍, since we have 15 person, we order additional course, total 2840.
~$200 per head.
Overall,
幾十年老字號 really 足料 especially 煲湯
some of the dishes are different from other 蛇宴, quite special.
環境.. ok la, 乾淨lor.
$200 is good price, but the 走地雞, is a bit too small.
