We were so hungry when we passed by Stanley Street and decided to come upstairs for a quick dinner. Their crazy set menu was so clear and easy to tick with choices of different components, toppings, upgrades of drinks or appetisers. Both of us ordered a noodle set with a drink and an appetiser at $88+10%.I hadn’t had 擔擔面 in so long and couldn’t help but order it despite that there was no specified meat in the set. I hadn’t had 擔擔面 in so long and couldn’t help but order it despite that there was no specified meat in the set. I topped it up to add 牛肉 at $15+10%, 牛肚 at $13+10% and 牛舌 at $13+10%. I asked for BB辣 & BB麻. I really appreciated their offering of different degrees of 麻 & 辣! The Chinese-style ramen were very delicious as they were well seasoned so that every single noodle was full of the sauce. And yet the noodles were still reasonably al dente. However, the sauce was not the typical kind which had loads of peanut dressing. Instead, the sauce seemed to be made from pork. I didn’t find it spicy at all. There were loads of minced pork which were well seasoned by the same delicious sauce. The loads of chopped spring onion and peanuts were great to enhance texture. The sliced cucumbers and 2 pieces of choy sum were very fresh. The three beef cubes were reasonably tender and delicious. There were three slices of 牛肚 and four slices of ox tongue.

The other noodle we had was 瘋狂大排面. Likewise, the noodles were also al dente. The soup was great as it was of the perfect level of spiciness which was so appetising yet not over intimidating. The soup didn't seem to be too oily. There were four pieces of pork bones which were again well seasoned. There were 2 pieces of fresh choy sum too.

We topped up our set at $32+10% to get 紅油耳片 and another $32+10% to get 棒棒雞. I didn't know what 棒棒雞 was. They were very thin chicken slices coated by a very thin layer of skin which were well soaked in chili oil. The pork ears were also well soaked in chili oil. Both of them were really 麻辣 and were served cold.

For drinks, we just stuck to their 烏梅汁 included in the set.
In short, the Chinese-style ramen was pretty good, especially 擔擔面. Please do try this if you happen to drop by.
