I preordered this afternoon tea through an online platform(starts with K) to enjoy a slight discount.The welcome drink was a refreshing sweet tea. I would suggest waiting the ice to melt a bit as it can be a bit too sweet initially.The afternoon tea set came and it looked even more stunning with its new design with all its colorful food items.Their desserts were beautifully designed and I was impressed how much detail they put into it. The coconut latte creme had even 3 chocolate drops inside to give a panda appearance, which also happened to be my favorite dessert despite I am not usually a coconut fan. It was that good.Desserts were all good but I was blown away by their savories. The tomato with plum dressing was so juicy and refreshing. The sweetness and tartness made a lovely contrast. The wagyu was tender and juicy even for this mini toast. The lobster jelly was full of crab meat and they were definitely genrous with the caviar yet without being salty.This tea set is a bit pricier than the usual ones but definitely worth the price. Service was also very attentive.

‘Panda Wonders Afternoon Tea’ at The Lounge, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong 🐼🫖WELCOME DRINK🫖Osmanthus Oolong Bliss Welcome Tea SAVOURIES🍅Preserved Plum Dressing & Marinated Japanese Tomato: The plum sauce was very appetising, not a fan of tomatoes though🫓Homemade Crispy Fish Cracker, Chili Sauce: The fish cracker remained very crispy and went well with the chili sauce that wasn’t too spicy🦀Osetra Caviar, Alaskan Crab Meat Lobster Jelly: There were nice bits of lobster shreds that added more texture to the jelly🦀Langoustine Tartare: Langoustine was springy and fresh🐮Seared A5 Wagyu Beef Sandwich: Very flavourful and tender beef. Bread was slightly toasted to give the slight crisp🥓36 Months 5J Iberico Ham, Sliced Ciabatta Toast, Figs Jam: A nice balance of savoury and tangy flavours from the Iberia Ham and Figs🍭SWEETS🧁Vanilla Chantilly Cream Roll: Very fluffy roll. The cream was also light about too filling 🥨Black Tea Mochi Choux: Very aromatic back tea aroma🥥Coconut Latte Creme: The coconut and latte flavours balanced well, didn’t over power one another, the presentation was adorable too🌰Pistachio Macaron: Rich pistachio flavours and it was not the usual super sweet macaron🐼Japanese Black Sesame Tofu Madeleine: Loved the black sesame flavours and the cute panda head presentation🥨Chocolate & Raisin English Scone, Jam, Clotted Cream: The chocolate scone had nice chocolate flavours. PP 附近返工, the Lounge 裝修後首次光顧。本身中午 lunch 時間就不多, 所以食一個counter都夠。裝修後餐牌略有改動：新鮮沙律加幾款壽司和西式湯（今天係蘑菇）好味又夠飽。
