I love Samsen's obsession with #wagyu, at first I was skeptical about the beef quality, thinking "oh! tactics restaurants use to jack up the price!" I was WRONG, not only they use top-notch quality beef, the wagyu addition actually makes a huge difference in the dish. All this time you think #thaifood is about piling up spices and herbs, and the quality of meat comes secondary, very wrong. 一心想去食泰北咖喱麵點知原來唔係成日都有叫咗船麵同炒金邊粉，船麵湯底濃郁但飲完唔會好口渴，牛腩好軟淋淋好好食而金邊粉則煙un有彈力雖然價錢比出面既泰國野都偏貴，但係會再返來食〜

Samsen 真係嚟親都要排隊😩 不過新式泰菜嘅講佢真係數一數二✨ 泰式奶茶好好飲!! 見cripsy fish skins ($20) 好多人叫 幾鍾意辣辣地嘅stir-fried fat noodles with wagyu ($128) 麵條雖薄咬落好有彈性👍🏻 而wok fries rice with crab meat ($128) 夠哂鑊氣飯仲炒到粒粒分明 甜品方面大推coconut dumplings 好重椰味裏面包住嘅係滿滿嘅花生碎🥜😘 mango sticky rice亦都唔錯

星期六午餐時段等位的人好多。條隊有二十幾人。可能喺灣仔區既關係，老外比例算多。等左大半個鐘終於有位。百幾蚊碗麵，加上咁多人排隊，自然有高期望......Menu 選擇其實唔多. 只有一張紙。船河，炒飯，炒河等有五個choice。加一杯drink 大概百三蚊。坐低點菜後大概五分鐘就上菜。效率幾高似快餐...Drink先上,青檸tea。太甜,冇乜青檸refresh既感覺。船河都跟著來。當然 ，船河得唔得最重要是湯，所以先喝一口。一喝...就覺得唔係我喜歡的船河。湯底太農太辣，蓋過一切。愛濃味的人會喜歡，但我喝不出一個足料湯底要有的甜味。一路食一路出汗，也分不清楚是辣還是味精。好的方面，食得出牛是above average 的。肉丸質素都可以。魚皮-炸得唔錯。因為味道實在太濃，最後忍不住點了椰子雪糕。買相好掂，用椰殼上,加上一片片椰肉同栗米。但係，重點既雪糕就食味出椰子味。味道太甜太creamy了...埋單三百幾。總括而言，性價比唔高，太長龍，還有，唔係我喜歡的味道⋯⋯

This famous thai restaurant always has a queue infront of the shop. Me and my friend waited for nearly an hour for this. The boat noodle is kinda the signature of shop, which did not disappoint me as all, the flavour is very rich and the beef is good as well. The fish skin is okay when compare it with the noodle. The restaurant is quite small, but quite noisy, it is quite hard for people to chat, but it is cozy!

Wanted to try it but they don’t take booking, so waited for our table for 2 hours. Finally sat down, ordered and finished after 20 min( they brought main before starter) we were still finishing our drinks, they came twice to chase for the payment. The food is good but over priced (similar to Mak Mak), service is 10 times worse, wont return

Went with 4 friends and just happened to be arriving as a table was leaving and got seated immediately. Service was good and food was well worth it. One of the few places I’ve been in HK with regularly filled cold water glasses and napkins. Very easy for English speakers

因為地點比較偏僻，任何時間都大排長龍，午市過黎既意欲大減，有次難得時間充裕少少就試下啦~虎蝦炒金邊粉 lunch set ($118) 配凍青檸茶足料4隻虎蝦爽口彈牙，金邊粉夠哂鑊氣、味道正宗，難得唔係得個甜字。 伴碟有青木瓜沙律、花生粒、大量香料同埋九唔搭八既一棵蔥，加埋台面幾款辣醬好惹味。 跟餐既青檸茶 甜甜酸酸，由原個青檸榨汁製成，茶膽有好特別既幽香。和牛船麵 lunch set ($128)深褐色湯底牛味濃郁，有金不換、紅蔥頭等香氣，鮮甜得黎唔會膩，似金邊粉既軟滑麵底索滿湯汁一流。 和牛、牛筋丸同牛腩都好夠牛味，但牛肉薄切，料同麵既份量偏少，有機會食唔飽。炸魚皮 ($18)炸魚皮厚度似薯片，夠脆但確喉死咸。烈日下排左大半個鐘，味道冇咩大驚喜，最有泰國風味係全程由排隊至入座都曬到喊，試一次就夠。

第二次食呢間餐廳，食物水準ok，但服務態度認真唔掂😡係冇通知食客幾時要還枱嘅情況底下，我地7:15pm入座，食左45分鐘途中，waiter 不斷行埋黎睇我地d野食完未，我地想傾多陣計都唔得，捱多15分鐘比waiter 們監視式眼望望，我地叫佢拎蛋糕出黎，生日飯梗係影下相，影左幾張，waiter行埋黎叫我地快d食，走既時候只係8:30pm，真係好掃興，超級趕客😡😡😡中價餐廳價錢，但茶餐廳服務態度！唔會再黎！

Drizzle with old school fusion architecture, samsen is a hidden gem in wanchai. 約了其他朋友8點半吃晚飯，所以先跟其中一位也是早下班的朋友去了泰麵醫肚，其實本來是想去OVO CAFE坐一坐，但見泰麵竟然出奇地沒人在等，就即刻衝進去吃了。泰麵好吃是聽了很久，但也沒吸引到我要特地來吃，聽說假日還要大排長龍，我應該沒這個心思吧。因為晚一點就要吃晚飯，所以我們只點了幾款試試。*Fried Marinated Pork Collar我知道這是個不折不扣的豬肉生菜包，但其實我們不是想點生菜包，呀但它就是放於「SALAD」的底下，我們是真的想吃沙律呀(笑)！其實是好吃的，只是吃起來有點狼狽，因為它提供的生菜是一整顆的，不像平時吃的幫你整理好一片片，所以吃的時候是一個球體這樣，但它的豬肉碎做得很香很好吃。*Crispy Fish Skin這道炸魚皮蠻令人驚喜的，完全不是平常雲吞麵店的那種口感，是脆脆薄薄的而且很乾爽，還有點微辣，來的話推薦要點這！*Pork Boat Noodle重點來了，就是這碗船麵！湯底確實是好濃好鮮甜，是非常深的咖啡色，感覺像是吸收了很多精華似的。麵條是幼身像金邊粉，質地帶點煙韌，吸收湯底的味道後真的好吃。豬肉片也做得出色，一點也不「鞋」，是軟綿綿的。*Ic

Samsen is always my first choice for Thai boat noodles. It satisfies my cravings every single time! This time we have to wait an hour for us to be seated, I think it's worth it, but not the case for my friend.We ordered the Wagyu Beef Boat Noodle. 泰麵是我心目中的第一不要去評論他們正唔正宗正宗呢個字個個人都唔同但響我心目中佢係正的船麵好食不在下話，湯底有層次，濃郁，湯和麵的分量剛剛好有少少辣，好開胃，有一食再食的感覺配料也只是配角，無配料都一樣好味而所謂香料味也不是技術重點只要加多d金不換就可以了食船麵當然少不是炸豬皮泰麵也做得比較有心，加上泰國的細細粒炸蒜就咁食都好味粉紅青檸梳打其實就是加了紅糖水的青檸梳打，味道就無咩特別總結店主很有心做好餐廳的第一個細節但一分錢一分貨值唔值就睇你鐘唔鐘意食但我敢講，係值得的
