After working overtime, I had late lunch at Lilium, a small restaurant specialised in Taiwanese dishes at Hoi Kwong Street in the vicinity of Taikoo Place. Various value for money meal sets and afternoon tea sets were available for your choice. The restaurant was cosy. Service was efficient and customer-friendly. It was a good place to take a break and recharge. You could order by scanning the bar code on the table. I took a bowl of braised beef noodles with beef balls ($78). It was satisfying

You could order by scanning the bar code on the table. I took a bowl of braised beef noodles with beef balls ($78). It was satisfying. The noodles were generous in size, tasted and smelled good. The beef broth was full of flavour. There were three thick pieces of beef shanks and two beef balls. The well seasoned and braised beef shanks were of good texture, lean and tasty. Beef balls were nice, too. I liked the texture of the Taiwanese noodles and the vegetables.
To reward myself for my hard work, I ordered a small platter ($68) and selected marinated chicken wings, egg and pig intestines. The platter was a good choice. The pig intestines and egg were my favorites.
It was perfect to complete the meal with a coke with lemon ($6).
