有点吃腻了自去年开始流行的意菜bistro，这次跟朋友寻思着找点什么小众菜系吃吃，想起了这家在Soho斜坡上、fineprint隔壁开了有一段时日的中东菜。·店面不算大，但细雨霏霏的工作日夜晚也full house，氛围热热闹闹。之前在湾仔老店吃过一次印象平平，不过这次体验值得一个好评。·吃中东菜总像在拜读一本小众食材百科全书，这家是short menu，要是菜单图片多点就好了。虽然服务生有在尽力描述，但依然觉得有点抽象，点菜宛如开盲盒。·【MASHWIYA】烤茄子/番茄/灯笼椒/酸奶油晚上控制碳水，前菜就没点服务生极力推荐的hummus & pita。茄子虽然是冷吃，但依然可以从绵柔口感中察觉到一丝碳烤焦香，番茄酸甜多汁，属于无惊喜但不出错的排列组合。·【CIGARS】香料碎牛肉/绿芝麻酱炸牛肉卷造型像春卷，中东芝麻酱颜色又像泰式青酱，一道菜吃出了文化融合的感觉。外皮酥脆轻薄，油润润的肉碎溢出令人食欲大开的香料味，蘸上酱趁热吃很香。·【WHOLE TURBOT】南瓜丁/腌柠檬/橄榄整条多宝鱼挺耐吃的，肉质入味又细腻，调味很地中海，看起来有点油，但其实是很灵动跳脱的酸，表面上码得整整齐齐的想不到是南瓜丁。·【KNAFEH】马苏里拉/酸奶冰淇淋/开心果比起印象里中东甜品的齁甜，这款甜度很克制，鸟巢似的外形是焙烤的mozzarella，切开中间质地像custard的是ricotta，融合冰淇淋吃很妙。·Wine list蛮丰富的，还有不少🍷来自黎巴嫩/摩洛哥/斯洛文尼亚等小众产区。【Domaine des Tourelles 2021】Syrah同Cab Sauvignon的混酿，酸樱桃/梅子/香料profile，活泼的酸度缓解油腻，作为餐酒不错的。

Spent a wonderful night with my friends here as everyone here was just chill and enjoying their quiet time. Overall the food is stunning especially the crab toast, we love it. It sets itself apart with its exceptional execution of classic comfort food dishes, elevated by the use of high-quality ingredients and masterful culinary techniques.Equally impressive is the selection of fresh seafood, which is beautifully presented and bursting with oceanic flavors. Whether it's the delicate fish, or the briny octopus, each item is prepared with care and attention to detail.

FRANCIS West is a sister shop of FRANCIS in Wan Chai. It was my first time to visit FRANCIS West and their food quality and services are excellent. I ordered a 3-course lunch set, which included one mezze, one main and one dessert.Mezze: Confit TunaIt contains capers, harissa, and toasted challah bread. There were 2 pieces and the tuna was super fresh and delicious.Main: PastillaIt contains beef, amba, and pickles. It looked like a beef pie and the beef was very soft and juicy! Dessert: KnafehIt had mozzarella, yogurt, and pistachio. It looked like a bird nest and it looked so cute. The yogurt on top helped my belly to feel refreshed after eating the first 2 courses. This dessert wasn’t too sweet and I think it is suitable for everyone!

侍應服務水平較低, 直行直過完全唔會留意客戶的需要. 環境都ok, 經理服務態度幾好. 食物方面菜式幾有創意, 牛肉整體偏乾, 雞尾酒特別. 試過一次就可以, 唔會再嚟呢一間餐廳

A delicious mediterranean dinner at Francis West with a funny waiter/bartender Lawrence👍🏻 He eavesdropped on us at the bar table and would chit chat now and then with us. Knowing it’s our first time at the restaurant, he recommended us some great food and introduced us on the restaurant plus their other Israel cuisine Francis in Wanchai. Easier for us to order after got some recommendations and even suggested how many dishes we should order for two. Food was better than expected, everything tasted great from appetizer to dessert 😋 Would definitely come back again like he suggested in order to try other food 🤣🤣 Dishes we ordered that night:Sourdough Frena hummus, red zhug, matbucha: Loved the sourdough, crisp on the outside and a mouthful of thick bread. Similar to a pita bread. Went well with the delicious & creamy hummus. Cigars spiced beef, green tahini: Flavourful fillings wrapped like a spring roll. Raw Tuna argan oil, almond, green chilli, gazpacho: Full of flavours, the raw tuna tastes really good with all the flavours mixed together. Spring Chicken coriander, fingerling potato, lemon: Loved the sauce, potatoes were sweet and the chicken was tender. Spanner Crab chraime, tomato, paprika: A very strong crab soup base that bursts crab flavour in your mouth when eaten with the crab meat and toast. Knafeh mozzarella, yogurt, pistachio: Loved the taste of it and the yogurt was delicious. The crispy layered shredded dough mixed together with mozzarella cheese in the middle tasted really good.
