I’ve tried a few Indian restaurants in Hong Kong and thought they mostly just serve curry and grilled meat. However, @anjappar.hk brought me an eye-opening experience and never had I heard about all these special Indian cuisines. I couldn’t help wowing so much when it arrived. Originated from the south side of India, this butter dosa is longer than my arms. Served with tomato, coconut, mint sauces and spicy soup on the side, you first tear the dosa off then dig it into the sauces. Each sauce is very unique and my favourite was the mint sauce.
🥂Mutton Bamboo Biriyani $140
Again, I’ve never seen this before. The long-grain rice and mutton were cooked already and came inside a bamboo. It’s at my favourite spicy level and the sauces on the side helped elevate the flavour. Just be careful with the mutton bones that’s hard to tell by its colour.
🥂Mutton Seekh Kabab $190
It came piping hot as you could see the hot air kept coming out from the clay pot. It’s basically minced mutton meat and flavoured with few aromatic spices and herbs. The sliced lettuce on top helped ease the oiliness.

Fried to a crispy skin but remained super tender and juicy inside, my favourite of the meal.

It’s cottage cheese with spinach sauce and cumin and went well with the garlic naan together.
🥂Garlic Naan $40
Very soft and it’s in its best taste when you eat it hot. Couldn’t help dipping this with all the sauces we had on the table.
🥂Mango Lassi $40
An Indian meal is not complete without an authentic mango lassi. It’s not too milky or too creamy, balance was just right and I love how it help cleansing our palate between dishes.
Their decorations and service fit very closely to Indian culture. If you’re looking for some authentic Indian food, I strongly recommend this place and I think their sauces and spices fit the taste of us too.
