We used to eat Sichuan dry mixed noodles every week. This noodle shop is very hidden upstairs of the first floor of a commercial building on Stanley Street at the lower end of the Central escalator. You know a place is good when you see customers from around the world. I had the DanDan dry mixed noodles (bb level of spiciness) with added braised spareribs. These noodles were superb, mix well the minced pork, peanuts, julienned cucumbers, spring onions, and you have some wonderfully flavourful and beautifully sauce-drenched noodles. Texture of noodles was perfect and springy, clingy with all the sauce and toppings.
Braised spareribs is a must-add. I love it, it’s extremely tender, with meat fall right off the bones. I had my noodles in the valued set, and enjoyed a side of garlic cucumbers and a glass of sweet & sour smoked plum juice.
