Green's afternoon tea menu changes frequently and each time it never disappoints. There is also a 10% discount if you book through openrice.This afternoon tea set includes unlimited Haagen Dazs ice-cream. There were 3 flavors and you can definitely try all 3 of them if you have the appetite. Moreover, despite the warm weather, remember to order a hot drink as you will feel very cold after eating many cups.Their scones were served in a box, allowing to be warm for a longer time. Their scones were served in a box, allowing to be warm for a longer time. I seldom mention the scones but given my experience of eating a cold scone at another hotel recently, I think I should praise Green for their thoughtfulness.
The tea set finally came. The dried ice served both to prevent the ice-cream based desserts from melting and aesthetically providing a feeling of being in a misty garden
Overall, I think their balance of savory and sweets was great this time for the tea set. The sweets were all ice-cream wrapped in chocolate and my favorite was definitely the strawberry. For the savory, the shrimp was the best as its flavor popped out the most.
In addition to coffee/tea, there was a complimentary glass of champagne included. A lovely end to this wonderful meal.
