Dalloyau may be best known for their sweets and pastries, but their savoury dishes are just as impressive! We came here for lunch on a Friday and sampled everything on their lunch set menu ($298/2 courses including appetiser/soup + main course + coffee/tea; $328/3 courses including appetiser + soup + main course + coffee/tea). The mains on the menu were pan-fried lobster, yellow chicken two ways (slow-cooked chicken breast and pan-fried chicken thigh) and crispy pork belly. All three were done to the highest quality, comparable to lunch at a fine dining restaurant. For desserts we had a classic dark chocolate layered mousse cake and a more innovative chestnut and apple roll cake, and both were absolutely delightful. There was hardly anything to fault in terms of food quality and overall dining experience. Would highly recommend this place whether for tea or for a proper lunch or dinner!
