I used to love coming to sushi tokumi, but in my most recent visit, I was quite disappointed to the extent that I may not visit again!The sashimi don and the deep fried pork cutlet set was okay. Sashimi was quite fresh which is a very important factor! Yet the pork cutlet was okay, nothing special about it. The sashimi don and the deep fried pork cutlet set was okay. Sashimi was quite fresh which is a very important factor! Yet the pork cutlet was okay, nothing special about it.
I didn’t manage to get a photo of the sweet potato tempura, but the fried batter was literally separate from the potato. Also, I thought a potato wasn’t even fully cooked! Really wanted to send it back to the kitchen, but I wasn’t bothered to wait again as it took a while for this to be served.
Even though the restaurant wasn’t even that busy, it took a while for the servers to respond, which also sort of annoyed me.
It’s sad that this place is no longer living up to the previous standards anymore. I guess I’ll just stick with going to the Sha tin branch!
