Weekend venture to the Chungking mansion. Our curry expert took us to this New Delhi curry house on the 3/F, you can choose to be escorted by the welcoming Indian or just take the lift at the end of the lobby. The restaurant has amazing graphics on their tables, and I liked the arts a lot. The service was superb, all of their staff were extremely friendly and they just couldn’t wait to flatter with you in both English and Cantonese, to make you feel like home! We even got free papadum as appetis

We even got free papadum as appetisers. Very Crispy, tasted of pepper and served with the mint yogurt sauce.
It was really good. There we had samosa and a fruity jam. Our girl said the samosa skin was well seasoned and she could taste the spices. The jam was sweet and sticky, surprisingly a good match with the deep fried pockets. Look at the camel arts on the table, doesn’t it look awesome it just brings your appetite to new heights.
Chicken tikka was delicious. Served on hot grilling plate, topped with salad and the chicken was tender, juicy and well charred.
Tried the garlic and cheese naans. Not very outstanding but it’s ok to have them with our dipping curries. The yellow dish is little spicy mutton curry- the girls love it and agreed that it was the best curry dish of the day.
This is 巴辣雞 very spicy hot chicken. I quite like it cos it’s spicy but bearable. Our hottest girl however thought that the spiciness covered the rest of the herbs, which she couldn’t taste.
This banana lassi was gold. It is very very smooth and fresh. I guess they didn’t put additional sugar and the drink tasted naturally sweet from the bananas and I love it. They also had original, mango, strawberry flavours available.
Our table full of food, and laughters.
For vegan choice, we took the spinach cheese dip. It’s my first time trying the cheese in this dish, it came in rectangular cubes and looked like tofu! The taste of the cheese was mild and so was the spinach, yet it’s a very filling dish.
Look at our bowling LASSI STRIKE: Thanks to this fully-dressed up pretty gal, we were able to receive homecoming service, appetisers, and glasses of water to end our meal. Most impressively, this restaurant is free of service charge a.m. to p.m., highly recommended!
