In comparison with the sunset rolls the quesadilla is more strechy with that extra cheese, love they preserve some chunks with their guacamole dip.

Finger-lickin goodthe fish is fried in beer batter to create that light crisp. The crunchy veggies perfectly counters the greasiness of the deep fry and mayo. I recommend adding some chili lime sauce for that extra kicks.

The grilled Beef came with Mexican rice and tortilla, also black peas and Salsa on the side. The beef is tender with a lightly charred aroma. The seasoning is on the refreshing side but the fun part of eating at a Mexican place is to build your own combo with all that sauce and salsa. The chili garlic sauce is a good partner. The rice resembles the rice pilaf, the al dente jasmine rice and the black peas enriched the texture.

Is confusing to see a Spanish Dessert at a Mexcian restaurant. I don't hold high hopes and It would be a surprise if they manage to nail it. The dough is tough as expected maybe they could go for some simple panna cotta next time if they are looking for a complete 3-course menu.

A moist cake featuring 3 types of milk. The fulffy sponge cake is soaked in that sweet and milky mixture, topped with light whipped creamm creating a smooth, pillowy texture. Lovely treat

By far my restaurant week adventures, Santa Monica Cantina brought us the biggest satisfaction with reasonable pricing, above par services and great food. The special menu did a good job in showcasing the highlights of the diner and I believed this spot will soon become the talk of the town.
