The restaurant is like a paradise for the elderly, the two grandpas sitting next to my table were talking about the recent air raid of ISIL by the US, some were holding newspapers mulling over the coming horse betting. But invariably the waitress or waiter, also elderly, would give a greeting or short conversation even about something mundane or routine, as someone, mostly habitués, came in and out. The restaurant thus serves a more important role as a place for socialization, rather than merely to fill the stomach.
Teahouse culture hails serving Chinese tea together with foods, to help digestion and alleviate the oiliness and fullness feeling after gluttonous eating.
題外話/補充資料：
A place not for food per se, but the human warmth and the reminiscence of the old days!
