I just went to a restaurant in Tsing Yi Maritime Square, UURO (Modern European). It had ambient and warm lighting, welcoming everyone as they entered the place.
I ordered Ham Macaroni with some veggies that were cut into small square pieces. It also came with a piece of onion bread which had various types of seasoning and herbs sprinkled on. As a morning drink, I chose the honey lemon water, completing my breakfast set.
For the Ham Macaroni, I could see mushrooms and a few veggies used as toppings on the dish. The pasta was served in broth, which matched the ham's balanced flavor. The macaroni was delicious and chewy, but in a good way. The add-on mushrooms and veggies were fresh, making the whole dish a delightful start.
Next up is the onion bread. It is shaped like a baguette, except much shorter. It was topped with herbs, which made each bite filled with different flavors. Apart from that, the flour and water were mixed perfectly to create this bread. It wasn't too sticky for me, nor was it too hard to chew on. All in all, this onion bread is a perfect snack after the Ham Macaroni. I ate the whole bread!
Last but not least, the honey lemon water was, an unusual but refreshing twist, served warm and stored in a metal cup so that the drink would remain hot after the others finished their main dish. The lemon juice combined with the honey perfectly, making a balance between acidity and sweetness.
