First things first. I intensely dislike the name fro-yo, it puts me in mind of some irritating hipster (I really don't know why, I also feel similarly about the hideous portmanteau of cronut and the like). Sadly I fear that my language-based prejudice has deprived me of something that is actually really tasty. I have visited Yo Mama twice in a week (it is indeed too close to my office). I have visited Yo Mama twice in a week (it is indeed too close to my office). The first time I went for the original yoghurt flavour with M&Ms. This combination is great for those looking for a little nostalgia. The rainbows streaks left by the M&Ms reminded me of (the extreme treat that is) stirring smarties into my mum's porridge. I really enjoyed the plain yoghurt flavour, it was really satisfying. ($31)
The second time I wanted a pot which looked more sophisticated so I opted for green tea yoghurt with chocolate shavings and sesame. This did indeed look beautiful however the taste of the yoghurt was a little overpowered by the sesame seeds. Enjoyable but I preferred my childish colour-explosion. ($37)
