Came here with four other friends as one of them had a 30% discount voucher that he wanted to use before it expired.The menu is in English only. Just to note, the menu was lit with a backlight. It was a bit too bright and hurt our eyes so we turned it off. The restaurant wasn't really that dark so unsure why this added feature.We ordered a bunch of dishes to share.Insalata di Cesare ($138). Insalata di Cesare ($138). The salad greens were fresh and the amount of dressing was just right. It was just a salad.
Trattoria Platter ($218). We were suggested this by the staff as it was more value for money when we wanted a charcuterie platter. This included few slices of salami, parma ham, some mozzarella balls with cherry tomatoes, pickles. It was good and decent for sharing.
Burrata Cheese with Sea Salt ($90). The burrata was soft and wonderful. There was a drizzle of olive oil on it.
Crostini with Foie Gras ($208). This was a bit sad to look at. The foie gras was ok and not too rich. The toast was crispy. I did like the sauce that came with it. It was a nice sour taste that went extremely well with the foie gras.
Piccante con Peperoni ($208). This was the best of the night. The pizza crust was crispy with a slight sweet taste. The toppings were generous. The pepperoni was wonderful.
Spaghetti Carbonara ($228). This was pretty good as well. The spaghetti was al dente. The taste of parmesan was strong and it was very VERY creamy.
We also ordered a Bistecca alla Griglia ($368). A sirloin with herb butter and fries. This was medium rare but had a burnt taste to it.
Overall, the food was ok. I've had better Italian. As we had a discount, it felt more at that price range. If we didn't, I think this place is way over priced. Service was very good though. Mains arrived after starters were finished and not all together. Food arrived promptly. The place is also very noisy. We could hardly hear each other speak.
