As the weather was very hot today and no mood to cook, we decided to go downstairs to have our lunch. While walking past this small cafe, we were attracted by their bright lighting inside the lobby. The Boarding Gate was located at Hub 8, Temple Street, few minutes walk from Jordan MTR. The cafe was cozy and relaxing, with alot of Christian decors, books and travel books. The cafe was cozy and relaxing, with alot of Christian decors, books and travel books. It was opened by the boss of a travel agency, with the aim hoping to share travel ideas with one another.
They are having a scheme whereby if a customer planned to give away their travel book, they were entitled to a free cup of coffee.
Even though their cafe was located inside the lobby and occupied a small area, but their menu was comprehensive, offering hotdog, pizza, bread, noodle, cake, snacks and drinks etc.
Iced americano was smooth and fragrant, with strong coffee taste. Coffee beans was from Chiang Rai, Thailand. iced lychee soda was refreshing and cooling, perfect during this hot weather. It has strong lychee taste and has lychee meat in it as well.
Omakase hotdog - The staff was generous with the serving, with the hotdog huge in portion. There were eel bits, crabmeat to go along with the hotdog. It was juicy and chewy, sweet as well as the sauce was sweet and flavourful. It was cheesy and the bun was toasted till soft and warm.
Cheese pizza was in mini size, enough for a person. It was toasted till crispy and cheesy. Fried potato grids was crispy and chewy, fried till hot.
