I normally don't write terrible reviews but when I bump into incidents like this I simply can't refrain. I normally don't write terrible reviews but when I bump into incidents like this I simply can't refrain. After a long day of work and not having eaten lunch I finally arrived at this restaurant at 10 PM craving for a dish that I normally order baked bolognese rice. For some reason today it wasn't available they said they don't have this on the menu and they only have the baked Bolognese spaghetti. As annoyed as I was I was starving so went ahead with that order. After my meal I approached the manager and asked politely do you normally allow your patrons to request menu changes such as pastas to rice or simply egg noodles to flat noodles? He embarrassedly said sorry we have company rules which obviously I laughed out loud at. How can I sample order and menu switch from a pastor to rice be in forced by a company role when you're working at a restaurant? Aren't you supposed be serving with your customers ask for? I understand this is in a Michelin star restaurant but it's a simple request pasta changed to rice. I understand that the POS system may not have the specific request but if that is your concern the least you could do is ask the customer if they mind adding money to change the order. Simple solutions. Not rocket science. This is why I hate eating at local restaurants. They always have to follow the rules and don't know what to do when it's outside of the book. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills zero.
