Choices of restaurants offering Swiss cuisine in Hong Kong are limited, initially wanna go for Chesa in Peninsula but it’s temporarily closed… let’s give the Swiss Chalet a try Cheese fondue is a no brainer choice and I was surprised at the varieties - like fondue with tomato, Chinese style fondue with rice vermicelli, non-alcoholic ones etc. Sound a bit weird so we stick to the traditional version melting cheese with dry white wine. Portion is just right but it is lighter than the one I tried in Switzerland, probably adapted for locals. Personally prefer to be more cheesy and alcoholic
Second Swiss dish in Switzerland I missed is Rosti
Here is the Sautéed veal kidney in a herb and Calvados sauce served with hash brown potatoes. This one is quite tasty, worth trying
Overall not bad but not as authentic as I expected
