The unlimited matcha ice cream with red bean paste was not too sweet and allowed me to eat more.
Like last time, the afternoon tea was arranged as 3 courses. The crab was my favorite and I appreciated how they changed their appetizers ever so slightly(from deep fried to baked oyster) to let regular customers of their seasonal afternoon tea to try different things.
I tried a bit of the pasta which was good but it could have been a bit more al dente(but my friend likes this texture a bit more)
I tried the fillet and I loved how they incorporated strawberry into the Main as well.
The desserts came and they were all amazing.
I preferred the sake jelly the most. It looked quite cute and the hint of sake matched the sweet/tarty strawberry flavors.
The slight disappointment came with the strawberry platter.
The flavors are all great but I felt it wasted the preparation of the afternoon tea promotion (their 5 different types of strawberries is their highlight as seldom there is a meal you get to try 5). It would have been great if the 5 types of strawberries could have been introduced briefly and any order I should try it(maybe from the most tarty to sweet).
