Dining in Causeway Bay is certainly expensive, whereas Cross Cafe is a comparatively budget-friendly place to opt for.I was surprised by their stone pot udon on the lunch menu so I decided to give it a go. It arrived with a sizzling and bubbling pot alongside an extra bowl of broth for you to refill. There were three slices of ox tongue, a generous amount of fungi and mushrooms. The udon was surprisingly nice, paired perfectly with the broth. Though I have to complain that the broth was perhaps,

Though I have to complain that the broth was perhaps, way too salty for my taste. I needed my drink for my rescue.

We also paid an additional $18 to try their milk curd. The curds were super hot, though I loved the creaminess and sweetness of them. Recommend this snack to anyone!

Overall it’s an okay dining experience. The service was alright and luckily we didn’t have to queue up.
