Spanish Dinner. Warmly greeted by the Spanish chef and his team of friendly servers. Some bar counter seating overlooking chef at work, plus several tables.Lively decor, with tiled walls.Wine list was reasonable, went for a bottle of Tempranillo. Appetizers- marinated olives, cured cheese, 雲耳
Oysters
Wagyu Beef tartare with Toast
Padron Peppers- mildly sweet and flavorful.
Deep fried squid
Iberico Ham and Melted Cheese Sandwith with Black truffle
Galician-style beef tripe with chickpeas and black pudding in thick broth- very hearty.
Red prawns in a delicious sauce with garlic pieces. Server brought along a plate of bread and reminded us to squeeze out all the goodness out of the heads.
Suckling pig. Very juicy and tender, a bit fatty for my liking tho. Skin was honey flavored and very crispy (and fatty). Apples on the side, and not potatoes as I originally thought.
Paella with Goose aged 17 days.
Dessert: 70% Chocolate cake on a bed of crumble with Passion Fruit ice cream. Wish I was given more crumble.
In summary: authentic Spanish restaurant with cozy neighborhood vibes. Excellent service.
