Randomly passing this Japanese restaurant seeing their sashimi on menu looking incredibly indulgent and seems waving at me, I immediately went in with my empty stomach.Reading their menu with variety options even including cooked food, I was pretty impressed. I ordered Kaihoudon seafood rice bowl. It came out pretty neat. Bright colour seems a good sign of freshness. Sashimi was in thick cut and generous amount. Tuna, scallops, eel and octopus were fresh. Tender with a hint of fresh sweetness. Personally found the sweet shrimp and urchin wasn't their best or as fresh as the rest. Rice portion was just right to last until your last fish bite.
It was pretty funny that the background music was playing English pop songs while it's an Japanese traditional design restaurant.
Staff were nice and friendly. They would introduce their daily special and their signature politely. Opening the door for customers which really gave a good impression.
All in all, not bad.
