It was a Saturday at 23:45 and I was seated immediately.I was ravenously hungry so I ordered many dishes, but I just want to comment on my top three. Deep fried silk rolls w/ shrimp and cheese: These were by far my favorite. A silk roll filled with shrimp and cheese, covered in noodle like strings and deep fried. Deep fried silk rolls w/ shrimp and cheese: These were by far my favorite. A silk roll filled with shrimp and cheese, covered in noodle like strings and deep fried. It’s crunchy, oily, cheesy, and the shrimp is light and refreshing. All this really needed was a good dipping sauce.
Pork and shrimp Siu Mai with abalone: The actual Siu Mai was very good. Light, meaty, and the texture was ground nicely. The abalone was a nice refreshing cool, sea, flavor that burst in your mouth. I’ve had fresher but again, great quality for the price.
Pan fried eggplant with shrimp and teriyaki sauce: Eggplant is so amazing when fried up and cooked all the way through like this. The shrimp were cooked perfectly that gave a nice crunch or pop to the tender and creamy eggplant. The teriyaki sauce was sweet, umami, and slightly sour to really add depth to the dish.
My service was so friendly and the environment was fun!
