Came for cocktails at this restaurant previously and quite enjoyed their snacks, namely, their french fries so decided to come again for lunch.Decor and ambience were nice and we were quickly seated at a 2 person table. We both ordered 2 different fish lunch sets to share. For lunch sets here they come with both a salad, soup, main and lastly coffee/tea. Everything tasted super bland. Then came the vegetable soup which wasn't very appetizing either it seemed quite watered down and so had to ask the waiter for some black pepper.
On to the main dish, first came the pan-seared halibut with white sauce. The halibut was cooked just right but again, it wasn't seasoned enough and there was very little white sauce to go with it. The seared asparagus and cherry tomatoes were yummy though.
The second main dish was the pan-fried whole sole. We found this was quite oily overall and could've done with more sauce but the portion was huge and so this was very good value wise.
Overall, we didn't enjoy this lunch too much as both the salad, soup and main dishes were quite disappointing.
