My latest obsession on weekdays is this green picnic box from FOODBOX. Perfect for eating “al desko” though things get messy because the sandwiches are pretty big. My hands and mouth can hardly cope and I get sauces on my chin, my cheeks, my ears, etc. Rice for lunch gives me food coma so I tend to opt for sandwiches and soups. A sandwich set comes with a side soup/salad, a coleslaw and a pickle.
• BLT Sandwich - hugh slices of bacon seared crisp (though a bit toooo crisp that I had to tear every bite off), mayo to keep things nice and moist and explosive amount of lettuce and tomatoes.
• Roasted Turkey Sandwich - real turkey slices (not those ham kind) because they kept the roasted turkey skin. The sauce is slightly spicy to give the tender dull bird a kick.
• Coleslaw - made just right with fresh and crunchy cabbages. Not too sweet and not drowning in the sauce.
Their salad sets look equally value-for-money and comes with soup.
They have a stamping program - get 10 sets and the 11th one is free.
