This shop was new, which seemed to have been open for only a few weeks. So we came by for a trial. It was pretty full for dinner on Sunday (with no protests). Renovations were pretty new and the whole restaurant was so bright. We ordered 1 street snack + 1 meat / seafood to share. The Shrimp in Sugar Cane was very so-so. There was so little shrimp meat. The Shrimp in Sugar Cane was very so-so. There was so little shrimp meat. The sugar cane was totally not edible. My dinner partner said the sugar cane had some shrimp flavour though. The veggies underneath had a bit of sweet and sour dressing. Overall, I would say it was quite over-priced at $62 + 10%.

As we wanted to get rid of carbs this time so we ordered the Beef Brisket Curry in Pot with Garlic French Bread. It was stated on the menu that the curry was hot spicy but it was in fact not so. In fact it was a bit sweet which was pretty tasty. The portion of beef briskets was reasonable and they were tender. But I think they could have added more sides to the curry like potatoes/onions/carrots etc. The Garlic French Bread was crispy but had nothing special apart from that. Overall, I would say it was quite over-priced at $118+10% as well.
While these food items were quite overpriced (there was no set dinner, unlike those we recently tried in Wan Chai/Sheung Wan), maybe the pho/other soup noodles/noodles offered better value for money. But we would not come back and try again. Service was sub-par(they also stated so on the door saying that please excuse them because they are just open...). There was no bowls offered to us to share the two dishes we ordered. While they offered a plastic bowl and fork for my kid, we found that the bowl was still oily and not clean - so hygiene really failed reasonable expectation.
