Came here first time for the set lunch. As there are a number of restaurants around we were going to try at least once, and I’m pretty confident this has got to be one of the worst.Ordered the baby back pork ribs and fish and chips. Salad and soup were normal, but the mains were dreadful. The ribs were huge in quantity but utterly tasteless and tough to eat. Ordered the baby back pork ribs and fish and chips. Salad and soup were normal, but the mains were dreadful.
The ribs were huge in quantity but utterly tasteless and tough to eat. I wasn’t expecting them to cook the ribs like they do in Texas, but because the ribs were in such a large chunk and one can tell they actually boiled them in water before putting on the grill with the Barbie sauce the meat tasted like trash and dry. No love put onto the ribs whatsoever.
Fish and chips wise, the fish was succulent, but the batter was so so salty it’s like salt bae was right next to us everytime we had a bite of the fish. The only good thing was the portions were generous but i rather they focus on the quality.
Won’t be coming back
P.S Booked via OpenRice but said because we weren’t ordering A La Carte they gonna cancel our booking thus missing the 25 miles . Weird logic.
