Bubble milk tea and fruits drinks are popping up everywhere nowadays, but do they taste good actually? Just like most of the soft drink restaurants out there, 丸作食茶 from Haven Street will do just the same. However, what is worth noting is that the bubbles in their bubble teas are freshly well made from black sugar. Common ingredient in Asian cooking and baking, black sugar (Kurozato) is a type of unrefined sugar comes from the island of Okinawa. It has many health benefits not found in white and brown/red sugar.
The milk tea I had was great. The bubbles were chewy. The sweetness from my order was perfectly fine. I really enjoyed it.
I would definitely say that this restaurant is worth trying.
In a single purchase order, when the total is over a hundred, they allow customers to enter a lucky draw from their self made pinball machine. And today, I am lucky enough to receive a free of charge on those bubbles for my future order.
