It was fairly full when we got there at 7:30. We ordered a bottle of wine to drink first. Then we ordered a spinach salad, lamb with cous cous, baked Camembert and a Wagyu rump steak with fries. The food came and everything was great until the steak arrived. We ordered medium and it was cooked medium but it was extremely chewy. That's funny, especially if it's Wagyu. So we told the waiter and without hesitation they changed it and a fresh order came in 20 minutes. It was nice, tender and juicy

So we told the waiter and without hesitation they changed it and a fresh order came in 20 minutes. It was nice, tender and juicy. So why was the first one do chewy? At $220 a steak, it's not expensive, but were they really Wagyu?
