After hiking, I was super hungry but we still managed to hold it untilWe reached this Singaporean restaurant. This restaurant was famous for its unique satay and tonight I finally have a chance to try it out. Satay platter:
I was actually quite disappointed as everyone said that it was super yummy but I found it not so special. I don’t know if it was the sauce or the chicken itself was sour. I didn’t finish the chicken as it tasted sour but the beef and pork was alright.
Laksa:
The soup was very nice, the noodles were delicious. It was actually quite spicy. The bean curd was soft and tasty after absorbing all the soup. The fish ball was crunchy.
Pepper chicken:
The chicken was meaty. It was a bit over cook but still very tasty. The flavour was quite strong.
Fried turnip cake:
This was my favourite even though the appearance was not too attractive. The turnip cake was soft and crunchy. The flavour was spot on and I loved the way they cooked it will lots of egg!
Curry vegetables:
This was another disappointment as it had no taste. I have to put everything in the laksa soup for some flavour.
