In the past, we really enjoyed coming to Totoya for sushi lunch and it was so crowded with queues up to 90 mins just for a meal.The crowd is gone and this is due to the low quality of food now. I forgot to take photos but firstly the cutlery were so dirty, my sons childrens cup still had rice in it!! . The water was changed but the cup was not as the cup had some black spots on it that I could recognise.The sushi rice is overcooked and too soft. The flavour of the vinegar was lacking too. The so

The sushi rice is overcooked and too soft. The flavour of the vinegar was lacking too. The soft shell crab hand roll was cold. However, on a positive note, the fish was still relatively fresh and tasty except for the scallop. The others were fresh and tasty. I recommend the eel sushi. The eel is soft n tender. But the rice really ruined the experience and I hope the management really looks into this and reviews their restaurants.
Staff in general was nice but I think they are overstaffed due to the lack of customers. Many were just hanging around chit chattingto each other.
Until a change is made, we probably will not visit again.
