Far away from the city, @sunsetgrill.hk is situated on the top floor in @sheratonhongkongtungchung with sea view. There is a big balcony and you may sit there to enjoy a sunset view when the weather is good. We came here for lunch after visiting Ngong Ping. We ordered three lunch sets and one pasta from the a la carte menu. I’d say their starters were better than mains. But the atmosphere here is nice enough to forget about the quality of food.We chose two 3-course lunch at $308 and one 2-course
We chose two 3-course lunch at $308 and one 2-course lunch at $278. Sourdough is served after ordering and could be refilled.

We wanted to try both steaks on the lunch menu and asked for medium. Ribeye tasted better than the other as it’s more tender and flavourful due to its type. The creamed spinach on the side was too creamy for my taste. Green peppercorn sauce is already served but they also give you extra sauces for you to choose.
🥂Charcoal Grilled Jumbo Prawn Risotto $288
This was from the a la carte menu. Served with lobster sauce, the risotto was nicely done with creamy texture but the prawn was overcooked so it was not bouncy and juicy enough.
🥂Black Truffle Ravioli
Since we ordered so much meat, we need some vegetarian dish to balance it out. Served in beurre blanc sauce, it’s actually quite heavy. The artichoke was also not my type.
🥂Wagyu Beef Carpaccio
Came as starter from the lunch set, I actually liked the combination here with rocket, parmesan and black garlic aioli, rolling the beef together with these was a party in the mouth.
🥂Tuna Poke Bowl
Another starter from the lunch menu, it just never goes wrong when tuna and avocado are together plus the nori rice cracker on top just made it more appetising.

Also the starter from lunch, just too salty.

Nice desserts to wrap up the lunch here.
Food was above average but not very surprising. The serving speed could be faster but other than that everything was quite nice. However, I will only be back if I am around the area.
