I always enjoy the buffet at this hotel near the harbour and they have launched a Spanish themed buffet recently, hence I BEGGED my boyfriend to go with me haha. The closest MTR stop should be Whampoa station, but we met up at Hung Hom station first (which was more convenient for us) then took a taxi together. Near the entrance, there was cold food section including salad, sushi, sashimi and cold seafood. Even though the lobster looked so tempting, I couldn’t eat it due to my allergy to shellfish, so I decided to get salmon and octopus sashimi instead.

The opposite side is the cold cut section, as the theme was Spain, how can you miss out some Ibérico Jamón ham? There was a banner about the information of the ham next to it, it said at least 75% of pigs were originated from Spain and it got a perfect balance between meat and fat. Besides the ham, I also grabbed some of the salami and cheese as well. The jamon and salami weren’t that fatty, so you felt like you can keep eating it. And you MUST paired them with a bit of truffle honey, the long lasting taste was heavenly delicious. Moreover I enjoyed the Rebochon Cheese, it was similar to Camembert but with slight mild flavor, nom~

Since this was a yummy Spanish journey, you gotta had some signature spanish dishes like seafood paella, tortilla, garlic prawn, coquette and few more. The garlic prawn looked mouth-watering, however AGAIN I could only stare at my boyfriend eating it. He said it was so flavourful and the prawns were al dente, and it would be better to have few bread to dip the orange garlic sauce.

Of course the buffet won’t just feature one cuisine, there were Chinese dim sum, Indian curry, British roast beef, Japanese sushi and Korean stone pot noodles. If I were you, I would definitely get a bowl of Chinese soup. It was because the restaurant had put lots of nutritious ingredients to it and there was no artificial, anyone would appreciate that light sweet soup.

Don’t get too full from the savouries, as there are TONS OF DESSERT waiting for you!! The sweet bites were first come first serve, I got lucky and had the last crema catalana~ Crema catalana was one of the Spanish themed dessert, as well as the arroz con leche a.k.a rice pudding tart with citrus. There was a nice and crispy caramelised surface on the crema catalana and it created the perfect texture with the smooth creme egg pudding underneath. As for the rice pudding, somehow I felt like it was closer to a Turkish dessert (because it is one of their signature dessert). The sense of cinnamon totally added a tasty flavour to the rice pudding tart and it was good to eat with the crunchy tart crust.

Other than two special Spanish themed desserts, you could savour some other treats like chocolates, red velvet cupcakes, lime with pineapple and coconut cake, vanilla puff and a lot more sweet as well!!! This was surely how I would like my dinner to end haha~
