The food here subverted my impression toward the traditional vegetarian food in Hong Kong. Although the new types of soy meat have been quite popular among the town in these few years, my memory of the chinese vegetarian restaurants remained the same, that there would be just a bunch of old people having tasteless boring veggie or some really fake imitate meat with too much food coloring. However, tho M Garden still served some regular dishes, like the taro fish, they also applied more creativity in designing dishes which are more like just the common Cantonese restaurant and the products were quite a success!

The Shredded Chicken was nearly no different with the real one and the Crispy Roll was fresh and taste good. Others are the rather simple dishes but with good quality.

The environment was decent too. Each table had a fair distance in between and was not overcrowded. Staff response was prompt and thoughtful.
