I was having a feeling to spend my dinner on something local satiating and quick. First came in my mind was this famous cart noodle restaurant.Passing by seeing the usual queue hoping the wait wouldn't be long. Luckily it took me less than 5 minutes to sit in. I ordered chitterlings, fish tofu and pork jowl with oil noodle. Additionally ordered watercress in beef broth. Sadly, the portion of the noodle seems smaller than before. Passing by seeing the usual queue hoping the wait wouldn't be long. Luckily it took me less than 5 minutes to sit in.
I ordered chitterlings, fish tofu and pork jowl with oil noodle. Additionally ordered watercress in beef broth.
Sadly, the portion of the noodle seems smaller than before. Chitterlings were nicely cook without porky smell. Pork jowl was tender. Fish tofu was very delicious. It absorbed the broth that every bite was juicy and savoury.
Watercress was crunchy and fresh. Still my all time favourite. And I believe this is one of the rare veggie dish served in restaurants in Hong Kong.
