last time I tried Yardbird was like 6 years ago when the time they were back in former location 😅I always wanna visit again and finally here I am. Their new shop is hugeeee and they became Michelin 1 star resto now! So I arrived at 5pm to avoid the hype, and got seat right away 🥳

Introduce all the non-yakitori dish first :

- corn tempura (my all time favourite, as good as before)
- chicken katsu sando (from their special menu on the wall) minced chicken katsu with soft milky bread and tonkatsu sauce, taste really good !
- clam yakisoba - this one also on their special menu, was mouthwatering good, A bit salty, but is a Must order!
- KFC - spicy fried cauliflower , yum! Quite spicy though .
- meatball - tsukune is always my favourite dish from izakaya
- dessert - monaka soba tea icecream sandwich, must order if u still have room for dessert!

Yakitori 篇
We ordered almost all the yakitori from the menu 😂

Slides in order
- chicken oyster 🤩

- Achilles
- chicken liver

- ume thigh 🤩
- inner thigh 🤩🤩

🤩 are the ones I think must order!
First time trying thyroid and it was really good! It seems quite rare to see thyroid from other restos, so I think it is really worth to try.
The inner thigh was extremely tender, it almost felt like melt in my mouth.
The Chicken oyster’s texture is more firm than inner thigh, but soooo juicy!
Also, love the shiso flavour of ume thigh.

I love everything we ordered, all yakitori were made by different kinds of seasoning with strong Charcoal smoky flavour. But the regular thigh was a bit overcooked, not as tender as I expected. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Besides the good quality of their food, I also appreciated with their Super attentive service, vibrant vibe and stylish decor, I can totally get why there is a hype for so many years.
