i went on new years day for a 4 course lunch menu.being the first time there, i felt it was generally OK (atmosphere). it was quite cosy and it was good to find a place like this in homantin.as for the food.... here goes:soup: the soup was alright. although it was not hot enough. felt like the soup has been sitting by the window for 10mins before being served.main: i had the steak with vegies... honestly.. i was expecting more from the main.. but it feels like i can buy the same type of meat fro

as for the food.... here goes:

main: i had the steak with vegies... honestly.. i was expecting more from the main.. but it feels like i can buy the same type of meat from the supermarket and cook it better than them.
dessert: dessert was great though. i had the caramel pear mousse cake and it was superb!
coffee: just the same as any 'char charn tang''s coffee.
service: i totally agree with John(非會員)'s comments.
the waitress looked like death! ( i mean... on new years day.... try to look happy at least >_<) she was quite rude to people. as i saw her taking orders, she wasn't paying any attention at all, made people repeat what they wanted etc.
when people came in, she just pointed to tables and tell them to sit there. she didn't even take them to their seat..
overall... i don't think it's worth going for lunch or dinner. prolly for coffee or cake will be alright.
so if you want to try, make sure you look away from the waitress when you eat. coz' she might ruin your appetite
