Last day of work before Easter break, arriving town at around 9. Luckily, friends have been settled and made the order, there's always a reason why some shops would have shorter queue than the others at the proximity. Image shown is indicative only! Very indicative! Typical Viet roll is one of the must-have and without surprise the portion is at real petite but the surprising point is it's absolutely stuff like plastic wrap? Typical Viet roll is one of the must-have and without surprise the portion is at real petite but the surprising point is it's absolutely stuff like plastic wrap?
Lotus stem salad $78
Love the thin and crunchy lotus from Vietnam, mixed of herbs and lots of carrot, onion and dressed with vinegar and fish sauce.
Shrimp paste sugar cane skewers $78
(The image shows 6 pcs and it was served with only 2)
The sweetness of the sugarcane gives a special flavouring to the fried shrimp paste, wrapped with fresh veggie and herb together with the crushed peanut dipping heightens the richness.
Lemongrass grill fish $138
The best dishes among all, the fish is fresh and juicy but the size is pretty small.
Kale with sweet dried shrimps and crushed peanut $42
The kale is more like those Chinese ones, the dried shrimp is very sweet, indeed it should be sugar-added.
Vietnamese steamed rice ravioli $116
(The image shows 9 pcs and it was served with 4 pcs)
Quite gluey and doesn't find any special flavouring, the shred do cabbage doesn't look fresh.
