What a very cold Valentine Day at only 10C! Actually we do not really mean to celebrate this day, and we are busy to plan a so-called old customed "valentine dinner". We just wanna have a nice hotpot to keep warm quietly at home, and then share our chocolate together-- anyway a very simple night. However though having already bought food for hotpot, we are still too busy to wash them for cooking at home in such cold weather so, we finally choose to try the hotpot promoted in this restaurant
The restaurant is western-like and cozy, unlike the traditonal outdated/ copycat noisy-marketed chinese restaurant. There is nice Tsing Ma bridge night view through the big window, very beautiful. We had a nice table in a quiet semi-private room. However in an hour the restaurant was getting crowded so it became a bit noisy and the waiters' service was becoming a little bit insufficient.
Food:
1. Cold-dishes:
- 京式拍黃瓜: my honey loves its favour- sweet and 爽口. I think it so-so.
- 客家佬豆腐: despite its common look, we both like its crispy skin which match the sauce very much!
- 上海烤麩: it's really nice cooked too! we love it,
- 冰鎮掌翼: oh, its above average, can try!

fine vegetables
Shrimps are really sweet and fresh but pity that it offers us only 5. very rare.
fried fish-skin- a poor one. not good made.
fresh octopus... nice
Quite good beef, quite fat and tasty!!
pork-neck meat is deliciously-fixed, great!
豬肚, 鵝腸: so-so la.
We just treat it as an ordinary home-liked meal so we did not expect much. So finally it's a bit out of our expectation and we do like this meal not only because we can escape from washing dishes at home in such weather, but also because the service is still nice, especially a male waiter who is very hard-working and serve us politely! Of course, the food are generally common, not somewhat special but it is enough-- just a meal to keep warm without washing, and at least the food is generally fresh with good hygiene! 張貼
