An expat colleague of mine recommended this Beijing dumpling house to me, saying that it’s very affordable and delicious. I was thinking about getting all dumplings, but after I saw the noodles on the table next to mine, I decided to get some carbs also before a gym session. Therefore, I ordered this Green Onion and Mutton Dumplings with Noodles.
This lamb dumpling was so flavored and yummy! The dumplings were all handmade, with juicy and meaty stuffing. The green onion topped up the flavor of dumplings to the max. So enjoyable!
The noodles were just ordinary, and the soup base was really light. You would be so sure that there was no MSG inside. And I actually needed some chili paste to add a bit of flavor to the noodles.
I am quite sure that I would visit again to try out other types of dumplings before gym next time, but probably I would go for all 10 dumplings, instead of 5 dumplings and noodles for the same price.
