Great fish ball and beef brisket noodles

This place has been around since 1966 and you'll still see the long queues during lunch and dinner hours so you can't really go wrong with it.  I've been here multiple times and fortunately have never experienced the poor services like some have pointed out.  Food here in general is above average.  Had the sliced beef brisket with fish cakes noodle, where the brisket was chewy and fish cakes were fresh.  The 4-item noodle was a hearty choice where you get wonton, fish cake, beef balls, fish ball

This place has been around since 1966 and you'll still see the long queues during lunch and dinner hours so you can't really go wrong with it.  I've been here multiple times and fortunately have never experienced the poor services like some have pointed out.  Food here in general is above average.  Had the sliced beef brisket with fish cakes noodle, where the brisket was chewy and fish cakes were fresh.  The 4-item noodle was a hearty choice where you get wonton, fish cake, beef balls, fish balls and beef brisket (isn't that 5-item?!) with the noodle and it was definitely tasty and satisfying.  The toast with butter and condensed milk is always a local favorite.  It's an evil choice but worth to have it once in a while.
