This little corner on the 5th floor of the Jardine Center is a great place to go for an affordable lunch. With $60, you get rice, soup, an appetizer, a main dish, and five dumplings. You can choose from a wide array of dishes for the mains. As we wanted something light, we went for a veggie dish instead of another meaty dish. This was suprisingly well done. A little too oily but the bitterness of the melon was well balanced by their seaoning.
Dumplings were the highlight. It should be pork and veggies in there--goes amazingly well with the vinegar. Service was not so memorable, as lunch hour was busy and there was a shortage of staff and the air conditioning did not seem to work. The dumplings also came so late that we were already full by then. But then there is no 10% service charge for lunch! Just beware that they only accept cash for lunch meals.
