Causal Thursday lunch with hubby, he chose the restaurant this time. Very cozy old American style deco, not too nosy, we arrived around 1230 and was seated immediately, booked it just the night before onlineAs I’m pregnant we just hv bottled water which was refilled frequently. The starters are nicely done particularly with the bread, it’s crispy outside but soft inside with a not so boring taste. Salami olive and cheese taste normal. But hope they would improve the plate, $400 per head lunch is

The starters are nicely done particularly with the bread, it’s crispy outside but soft inside with a not so boring taste. Salami olive and cheese taste normal. But hope they would improve the plate, $400 per head lunch is not pricy but not cheap as well in Central so I expect an fully intact plate is a basic courtesy of an upscale restaurant?
The sauce is a bit spicy creamy cheese sort of, pasta texture is nicely done.
We ordered medium steak (as I can’t eat sth too rare these days) which is done to our satisfaction, the sauce is really tasty and match with the chargrilled steak, can’t help but to ask the waiter what it’s made of and was given a quite comprehensive answer.

Lemon cheese cake, it’s refreshing and not too sweet and heavy~
$400 per head, it’s a gd portion for us two as we hv relatively small appetite, and I like it this way more than the traditional American dish whose portion size is usually alarmingly large and remind me of wastage ~~
